Sarah joined our team in August of 2016. She is a Warren native and graduated from Warren Area High School, where she lettered in softball. She attended Edinboro University with a major in Animal Bio Science. She gained a lot of experience while working in an animal shelter for 2 years. During that time she also earned a certificate as a Humane Officer. Sarah works as both a receptionist and a veterinary assistant. She brings a lot of knowledge and good animal handling skills to the position. She is very outgoing and all the patients seems to love her.
Sarah also has had a pet sitting business for the last 10 years. She loves being able to help owners know their pets can stay in the comfort of their own homes while they are away.
Sarah spends her free time taking Harlowe adventuring in the forest, camping, kayaking, taking nature photos and going to the gym. She is a fierce competitor in softball leagues throughout the spring and summer. In the winter she switches to volleyball. Her 2 dogs “Harlowe” and “Heidi” are her best buddies. If Sarah could be any animal it would be a Bald Eagle because they’re majestic and MERICA!
